CES set to serve as the launching pad for some very innovative product

The recession is bound to have a profound effect on the way the Consumer Electronics Show is conducted. But when it comes to the lineup of innovative products it is not going to be less inspiring than what has been witnessed in the years gone by.

The lineup of products set to be exhibited in the CES in 2009 seems to be quite impressive so far. The impact of the recession has not yet matched up to the collapse of the internet boom that happened in 2000. The big time companies have as yet not been able to tone down their production to the decline in consumer spending.

The key factor that gives CES something to look forward to despite the recession tightening its grips around the masses is the fact that the consumer electronics industry is still full of intense competition. Hence innovation is fundamental when it comes to getting a slice of the market. Even those brands that are famous for their names need to keep on adding new features in order to keep their head above the water as they face the challenge from value priced brands.

Amongst the new gadgets that will be introduced by big companies like Sony Corp. LG Electronics Inc and Samsung Electronics Co. is the flat panel TV set. This TV is endowed with 3-D capabilities and gives you smoother looking action scenes. You can also access the internet through this television set and download movies, screen savers and even get the weather. The CES is also set to witness the launch of high definition camcorders and players for high def Blu ray discs.

Mind Flex is another highly anticipated release of 2009. This is a toy that comes with a brain scanning head set. The game allows you to move objects using your mind rather than your hands. Another new invention comes in the form of glasses that transform into compatible monitors with a 3D display. This innovative product by Nvidia Corp gives you the opportunity to play games and also sports a USB slot.

Prototypes of the much dreamed about wireless TV sets will also be displayed at this years CES. Another first for this year’s CES is the first internet car radio and a printer that can churn out a color page every second.
